These Terms of Service govern any project or ongoing engagement between you (the "Client") and Jackson Street Websites ("we," "us"). By requesting a proposal, signing a scope of work, or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.
Services
We offer one-time Website Build projects and ongoing Website Care subscriptions. The specific deliverables, timeline, and price for your engagement are set out in a separate written proposal or scope of work, which these Terms incorporate by reference.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide requested content, feedback, and account access in a timely manner. Delays on your end may extend the project timeline accordingly.
Intellectual property
Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of the completed website design and code transfers to you, excluding any third-party assets, stock imagery, fonts, or licensed software, which remain subject to their original licenses. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.
Payment
Invoices are due on the schedule stated in your proposal. Work may pause on accounts with overdue balances.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of , without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Privacy Policy
We collect the information you submit through our contact form — name, email address, company or website, and your message — solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss your project.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide only to reply to your request and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. We do not sell or share your information for marketing or advertising purposes.
Form processing
Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree, our third-party form provider. Their handling of submitted data is governed by Formspree's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We retain inquiry and client information only as long as needed to respond to you or fulfill an active engagement, or as required for our business and tax records.

Refund Policy
Website Build projects
Deposits secure your place in our project schedule and are non-refundable once work has begun. If you cancel before work begins, we will refund your deposit minus any costs already incurred (e.g., licensed assets purchased on your behalf). Milestone payments made for completed project phases are non-refundable.
Website Care subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period, including any unused portion. See Subscription Terms for cancellation details.
Subscription Terms
These terms apply to our Website Care subscription plan.
Minimum term
Website Care requires a 12-month minimum term from the start date. After the minimum term, the subscription continues on a month-to-month basis until cancelled.
Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance to the payment method on file. Fees are subject to change with written notice before your next billing date.
What's included
Hosting, security monitoring, routine updates, and reasonable content or design change requests are included as described in your plan, along with a quarterly review of site performance and improvement opportunities.
Cancellation
After the minimum term, you may cancel at any time with written notice. Cancelling during the minimum term requires payment of the remaining balance owed for that term, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
